Plans & Pricing
amoCRM has a pricing scheme that comes with three different packages: Base ($15 per user/monthly), Advanced ($25 per user/monthly) and Enterprise ($45 per user/monthly). There is also a free, 21-day trial available to all users. It’s important to note that amoCRM gives you access to all of its features during the trial period, without any obligations. As mentioned on the company’s website, all packages are billed annually, which can be efficient for some users, and highly inconvenient for others. Moreover, to access some of the more advanced features like auto-created tasks, digital pipeline automation, KPIs, sales forecasting, etc., you’ll need to purchase the “Advanced” package. Finally, the lead scoring feature is only available with the Enterprise package.
Overview
amoCRM is an advanced, cloud-based sales automation and CRM software, designed to give users room for additional development (as needed), streamline routine sales tasks and decrease customer acquisition cost. The prime idea behind the tool is to minimize the number of actions that a sales rep needs to perform on a daily basis and is suitable for any business size, as long as you’re tech-savvy and familiar with CRM software.
Features and Functionality
If we were to describe amoCRM in one word, it would be “automation.” When it comes to taking care of routine tasks for your sales team, this product is one of the best on the market. As soon as you create your account, the software automatically determines your location and IP and inputs your home currency. You can change it in the general settings menu if necessary.
The tool has built-in VoIP, which allows you to call leads and prospects directly through the CRM. It also records and logs all phone calls automatically. Moreover, the software provides call statistics to track the sales department’s calling habits. Whenever you assign an action to a given lead or customer, it automatically syncs with your calendar and notifies you both on desktop and mobile.
In terms of the usual things, amoCRM provides all the general features that you’d expect including a comprehensive dashboard, lead and customer profile creation, emailing, etc. Though none of those features are difficult to use, it will take some time to get used to them due to slight UI issues. For instance, some features like adding tags to leads, editing contacts, assigning notes, etc. aren’t very intuitive.
There are also a few unique features worth mentioning:
Highly Customizable Dashboard
The drag and drop functionality of the dashboard allows any user to customize it according to his or her working style, preferences, and needs. The experience is very similar to the way you may rearrange apps on your smartphone or Windows 10 start menu.
Effective Lead-Capture Mechanism
The tool offers a very advanced lead-capturing mechanism. When you’ve integrated amoCRM with all business tools like email, social media, website, etc., the system will automatically add prospects to the CRM whenever a touch occurs. You’ll instantly be able to see them in the leads section. Also, the leads section sorts everyone according to their position in the sales pipeline, enabling better monitoring:
Business Card Scanning
amoCRM has developed a mobile app which when users download and sync it with the CRM, allows users to scan business cards and automatically add all the information to the CRM. If the prospect already exists, the system will recognize it and simply update the information instead of creating a new profile.
Advanced Emailing
amoCRM gives users the ability to connect any number of emails from any provider to their CRM. Each and every message, both sent and received, is automatically synced and added to the corresponding prospect’s profile.
Cross Team Messaging
The tool also features a built-in messenger that allows all team members to communicate with each other right through the CRM.
As you can see, all of the features are aimed to provide as much routine task automation as possible, while eliminating the need to switch apps for pretty much anything. amoCRM is available on desktop, mobile and tablet (Android and iOS), compatible with all browsers, and runs smoothly on Windows as well as Mac operating systems.
Ease of Use
While amoCRM is well-designed and looks clean and understandable, once you start performing some of the usual things, you’ll come across slight UI issues. There are no major issues, but it’ll take some time to get used to the UI of the CRM.
Also, to make the most out of the product, your team will need to be tech-savvy. The CRM offers technically unlimited customization and open-development options, but those aren’t going to be very useful unless you can take full advantage of them.
Contacts & Users
Creating and managing contacts with amoCRM is easy, if you know what you’re doing. The thing is that the tool offers separate “leads” and “contacts” sections, which isn’t common. The main difference between the two is that a lead may be regarded as the company/person you’re trying to sell to, but there can be numerous contacts for the same lead.
This can be confusing since, more often than not, businesses assign “lead” status to the contact person anyway. Then again, if you’re looking for in-depth reporting and analysis, this may come in handy. You could also have contacts that aren’t classified as a lead yet, depending on your sales processes.
As for the lead management features and the sales pipeline, everything is very well-designed. The pipeline can be viewed right from the dashboard by any team member at any given time, which updates instantly when any changes occur.
By default, the pipeline can also be viewed directly from the leads section as well, though this section is highly customizable and can be adapted to fit your processes.
Moreover, the digital pipeline enables sales automation that will automatically push leads to the next stage in the sales cycle whenever a given event occurs, enhancing your lead nurturing process. For instance, you can configure the system to automatically send emails to new contacts, start displaying targeted ads at a certain stage of the sales cycle and assign a call to one of your sales reps when you’re ready to negotiate an offer.
Reporting & Integrations
amoCRM offers highly advanced reporting, analytics and integration options. However, keep in mind that to access some of the most impactful aspects of reporting and analytics, you will have to be at least an “Advanced” package user.
The reporting features can be found in the ‘Stats’ section of the tool and offer an in-depth analysis over pretty much anything that is going on with your customers, team members and deals. Everything is pretty easy to understand and you’ll be able to instantly identify whatever actions you need to take.
As for the integrations, amoCRM offers a high variety of tools that can easily be integrated to your CRM including Zapier, DropBox, MailChimp, Twilio, ActiveCampaign, WordPress, Zendesk, Unbounce and many more. The tool also provides you with a unique API key that can be used by developers to address/fix any technical issues and create integrations that are not on the vendor’s list.
